The Location Fee grants exclusive use of the house for the duration of the event.

HOUSE EVENTS

The house can be used on its own, or in conjunction with a marquee event.

All clients will have exclusive use of the house for the duration of their event. For a dinner party, the maximum that can be seated in The Drawing Room is 120 guests with The Entrance Hall, Saloon and Staircase Hall for pre-dinner cocktails. If after dinner dancing is required, then The Dining Room makes a perfect setting for live music or a DJ.

The rooms interconnect so movement for guests through the house is easy and fluid. In warmer weather guests may choose to have cocktails on the terrace and enjoy outstanding views over the Estate.

All clients are required to use one of our Approved Caterers, who we have selected for their consistently exceptional food and service. Each event is a bespoke occasion and your chosen caterer or party planner will ensure you achieve the style of event you are seeking.

MARQUEE EVENTS

Where guest numbers exceed 120 the construction of a marquee will be required. This marquee can, if required, encompass the whole front Portico, creating a fabulous entrance into the marquee via the double stone staircase and providing a stunning backdrop. Alternatively, a Standalone or Glass House marquee can provide a spectacular alternative.

The Location Fee for Wrotham Park will vary depending upon the size of the marquee, the number of days required for construction, setting up, dismantling and the period of the event itself. Each enquiry for a Marquee Event requires an individual quote, as every marquee is created to a bespoke design. The costs for a marquee can vary enormously and again is dependent upon size and internal fit-out etc. All clients are required to use one of Wrotham Park’s preferred marquee suppliers.

WEDDINGS

Wrotham Park does not hold a Marriage Licence, therefore you are not able to be legally married here. The setting and privacy provide a unique, beautiful and memorable location for your very special day. There are some outstanding hotels nearby for your guests to stay and as we are only 17 miles from Hyde Park, there is a wide variety of 4 and 5 star hotels from which to choose.

As Wrotham is an exclusive venue, your wedding planner will be able to arrange your day ensuring it is a unique and bespoke occasion, with the peace of mind that there is no other wedding happening at the same time.

There is a beautiful private chapel within the Estate where you may hold a Service of Blessing for up to 150 guests.

OUTSIDE EVENTS

Wrotham is set within 250 acres of Parkland and is well located for major roads, public transport and central London. We are a popular venue for larger corporate activity events. For details of prices for your proposed event, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
